My favorite Book

I have a book that is called "Wounded Knee" It is written by Heather Cox Richardson in the 1980's. I encountered this book back in middle school when I was 12 years old. This story is very important to me because it tells a story of what my people went through in the past. Im a proud Sioux Native American, this story was very sad to hear that innocent women and children were murdered by the hands of the US Military. Im a proud service member and they showed alot of respect for me and my people and we all know what was wrong back then. We are all one people and that is human and were all United States Americans.
